Bio:
Dr David Smart in private practice as a urologist in Pietermaritzburg, since 2002. He is Fellow of the College of Urologists (South Africa) since November 1995 and was involved extensively in clinical trials from 1998 to 2012. He is a member of the executive committee of the South African Urological Association 2008 – 2018 and is currently president of the South African Urological Association. He is also a member of the Council of the College of Urologists and former secretary of the College of Urology at the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA). He was chairman of the Clinical Hospital Committee – Pietermaritzburg Mediclinic 2006-2016, and is Director and Board member at Pietermaritzburg Mediclinic. He is the former Editor of Urology Today
