Bio
Dr Johan Grobbelaar is currently the Head and Department of ENT, Tygerberg Hospital, Stellenbosch University. His interests include head and neck surgery, combined open and endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, and balance disturbances. After an initial academic career for 3 years, he went into private practice from 2008 till 2022. Since then, he has been the HOD at Stellenbosch University. He enjoys training the next generation of doctors and ENTs and has a special interest in setting up databases for research purposes.
