These medicines are available as over the counter medicine with tetryzoline having a similar action to that of naphazoline. Tetryzoline, a topical vasoconstrictor, was indicated for ocular redness and continuous use would result in rebound hyperaemia. Antazoline is an antihistamine indicated topically for the symptomatic relief of allergic conjunctivitis. Antazoline may be useful in the case of histamine-induced itching.
