Bio: Dr Antoinette Miric MBBCH (Wits), DMH(SA), Mmed (Psych) Wits, FCPsych(SA)
Dr Miric runs a private psychiatric practice in Saxonwold, Johannesburg, and works part-time as a clinical educator for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand. Dr Miric qualified as a medical doctor at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2001 and as a psychiatrist in 2014. Amongst Dr Mirics many interests, she has a special interest in the treatment of mood disorders, specifically Bipolar Disorder. Dr Miric has a passionate interest in the mental well-being of fellow healthcare workers and mental health care providers and was a cofounder of the Healthcare Workers Care Network in 2020.
