Wits paediatric congress

UpToSpaed is an annual CME seminar where Wits paediatricians share their expertise

Medicine is constantly evolving at an ever-increasing rate. It is essential for medical practitioners to have a lifelong culture of learning. The Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of the Witwatersrand offers comprehensive services ranging from neonatology to neurology and everything in between.

UpToSpaed is an annual CME seminar where Wits paediatricians share their expertise. Themes change annually, so that the whole of paediatrics is covered with time and to provide variety for regular attendees.

For this 5th UpToSpaed, the themes covered include haematology oncology, neonatology, ethics, infectious diseases and antibiotics, private practice and nephrology.

The 2017 UpToSpaed conference will be held on 28-30 July at Wits Medical School, Parktown.
