Because of the progressive nature of diabetes, delay in the intensification to injectable therapy is associated with worse glycaemic control. Many patients with type 2 diabetes continue to have inadequate glycemic control despite the introduction of advanced insulin analogs and advancements in insulin delivery devices. Type 2 diabetes therapy is shifting away from a “one-size-fits-all” approach and toward tailored treatment regimens based on particular patient needs, thanks to a growing variety of treatment options. This webinar, presented by Dr Vishal Jairam, will examine the process by which one commences and intensifies injectable therapy. This webinar is accredited for 1 General CPD point.
