Bio 

Febe Bruwer is a Registered Nurse and Advanced wound care practitioner and the owner of The Wound Clinic at Life Roseacres Hospital in Johannesburg South Africa from 2009 to date.  

Febe holds two master’s degrees and is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of the Free State in South Africa. She is the current President of the Wound Healing Association of Southern Africa (WHASA) and involved in developing an accreditation system for wound care practitioners in South Africa. She has extensive post basic wound care training and research experience and is currently involved in several research projects as well as product development.  

Febe is regarded as a key opinion leader in wound management and is passionate about standardisation and wound management education. She has several publications in peer reviewed journals like Advances in Skin and Wound care and Wounds International.
